Seven Pincushions and Seven Pincushions on Hands

Concept

Suffering and pain that her parents felt while they were nursed in the hospital, sadness that her family was facing, and also her suffering in that period of her life, are an inspiration to create her mixed technique graphic art, using 7 pincushions made from her own hair which she has gathered for 7 years. The work is a metaphor of her both physical and mental suffering and pain, expressing how a woman confronts and has to bear with suffering.
