If There Was No Difference

SAKARIN KRUE-ON

Concept

I question about the meaning of living together. Should we let the human nature be on its own way and accept our fate, accept the inequality of opportunity, accept the difference between superiority and inferiority, and let the world spin with a centrifugal force of greed and desires? Or, should we live equally, own the same things, live with equality of opportunity, have the same level of intelligence, live with no slander and jealousy, with full of happiness, and with no discrimination and prejudice?  These binary opposites of thought might sound too extreme, but they actually are discourses that people are familiar with and used to form social and cultural patterns, and political doctrines which all of us are a part of.  The book “IF THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE” is a view on equality and difference in alternative dimensions, instead of a view on the end of each opposite. It is a question on the actual societal balance.
